Born in 1988 into a musical family with a classical music background, I am a Romanian concert pianist established in Switzerland since 2009. I was formed at the Haute Ecole de Musique (HEM) in Geneva, where my two mentors were Dominique Weber and Cédric Pescia.
I also had the opportunity to develop my musical understanding and piano skills with other wonderful musicians and pedagogues like Leon Fleisher, Julian Martin, Dmitri Bashkirov and Menahem Pressler.
As a Soloist, I performed recitals in Europe (Romania, Hungary, Poland, Greece, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain) and the United States, as well as concerts with the main Romanian Orchestras, the Orchestra of the HEM of Geneva, the Orchestra of the Festival of Gijón-Candás in Spain and other.
During my musical journey I was invited to play in solo and chamber music recitals at the Millennium Piano Festival in Gijón (Spain), Verbier Festival UNLTD, Lavaux Classic (Switzerland), Puplinge Classique (Switzerland) and Estivales de Megève (France).
My latest solo project is called ROmerican Avant-Garde and brings a fusion between American and Romanian 20th Century Works for piano. The main piece of the program is “The Seven Deadly Sins” by Jacob Druckman, a work that I had the occasion to replay in Europe in 2022, 67 years after its creation in Paris in 1955.
I was very happy to present and perform ROmerican Avant-Garde at the 2023 Verbier Festival UNLTD.
